Instructions
Construct the cannon as shown in the diagram bellow:

Remember, before you glue the
cannon together, it is a good idea to mount your ignition set-up. Look
at this
page for details...
Let the glue dry for 24 hours before you fire your cannon.

Firing
Your Cannon
To fire the cannon: Ram a potato in the
barrel, open up the cleanout plug, spray about 4 seconds worth of hair
spray, screw in the cleanout plug and flip the igniter.
Remember these types of
cannons are not that reliable and do not usually fire at a constant
range. Sometimes the cannon will fire a couple hundred yards, and
sometimes only a hundred. Experiment and see what works best for you.

Modifications
The barrel can be detachable so that
different sized barrels can be used. Such as a 4" barrel for
shooting toilet paper. To make the barrel detachable cut your original
barrel about two inches away from the chamber. Then glue on a 2 in. male
adapter. Glue a 2 in. female adapter on your left over barrel and the
two can now be screwed together.
NOTE: Make sure you
use the appropriate glue. PVC glue for PVC pipe, ABS glue for ABS
pipe.
